Dallas Adams to Present at TAC 2025 Workshop in Vancouver

This November, the Tunnelling Association of Canada (TAC) will host the TAC 2025 Workshop: Health & Safety Underground, a three-day event dedicated to advancing safety in tunnelling and underground construction. Held from November 16–18, 2025 at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, the workshop will bring together leaders, experts, and innovators from across the industry to share knowledge, explore real-world challenges, and shape the future of safe tunnelling practices.

We are proud to announce that Dallas Adams, Founder of Why Safety Matters, will be presenting at this year’s workshop.

Dallas’ story is a deeply personal one. After tragically losing both his brother and father in workplace incidents, he made it his mission to ensure others never experience the same pain. In 2017, he founded DC Adams Group – Why Safety Matters, an organisation dedicated to sharing powerful, real-world lessons about the human impact of safety failures. Since then, Dallas has spoken across Australia and internationally, delivering raw, emotional, and impactful presentations that resonate with workers, leaders, and policymakers alike.

The TAC 2025 Workshop promises an engaging program, including:

  • 8 Panel & Technical Sessions

  • 1 Keynote Speaker

  • 2 Site Visits

  • TAC Annual General Meeting

  • ½ Day Mock Trial

  • 3 Networking Receptions

  • 2025 TAC Awards Presentation & Gala Dinner

  • 19 Targeted Exhibitors

Participants will gain essential safety knowledge, hear expert insights, explore legal and regulatory frameworks, and connect with peers who are shaping advancements in tunnelling safety.

For Why Safety Matters, this event is an important opportunity to continue driving the conversation on the real cost of workplace accidents — not just in statistics, but in the lives of families, friends, and colleagues forever changed.

We invite you to join us in Vancouver, or online, from November 16–18, 2025, as Dallas Adams shares his story and contributes to the collective effort of building a safer future for all.
